Felt i should clarify why i'm here. At the moment i'm 19 and studying ancient history at the University of Manchester, England, about to go into my second year. I've always felt a bit guilty about not participating in the whole community thing on deviantart, and that's because i mostly use deviantart as almost a personal gallery that exists as my impetus to take photos. Photography and art are pretty on and off hobbies of mine, so deviantart to me is a way of prompting me to analyse my own photos and select ones i like and put them up somewhere, rather than just have a folder full of photos on my computer i'd probably never look at again.

If you like what i do then that's pretty cool and will give me an ego boost. Everyone loves ego boosts!
